my interest was different. I have a blog, actually two, one active personal, one dormant professional. And I send selective writings to publishers, sometimes accepted, sometimes not. What I wanted was a place to store what I've completed but has not been published with a URL available to the public and for linkage to other communications that I have. Medium has filled that mission. If I cared who or how many read each piece, it would be off to an editor for consideration.
